       Welcome and thank you for visiting our the Official site of the Higher Education Student and Professional Association (HESPA) at Louisiana State University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.HESPA is established for the expressed purpose of encouraging scholarly activity in the field of higher education.  

     
     Additionally, HESPA's purpose are as follows:

• Mentoring new entrants of the higher education
  masters and doctoral program

• Increasing research productivity among doctoral students through dialogue and collaboration

• Forming a network and community of higher
  education students and professionals

• Providing professional development opportunities specific to the field of higher education

• Aiding ELRC department in the recruitment of potential
  higher education students
