HESPA offers a series of workshops to offer members critical preparation to become successful rising student affairs professionals. As a student you will be faced with challenges like finding a Spring practicum internship, future summer internships, and eventually the job search. As an organization we take it upon ourselves to equip you with the skills and resources to be successful in all professional, academic, and networking endeavors. You will always be prepared for your first academic papers, first conference, and eventually the job search.

A large component of our programming is ensuring you have a great social environment while at LSU. HESPA has multiple outings and socials throughout the year so you’ll always have a family to socialize with. Our socials range from attending various events and establishments around Baton Rouge to hosting our own themed socials. Whether it is celebrating your birthday or helping you experience your first LSU tailgate HESPA will be there for you! We strive to build a strong family within our cohorts that will support you no matter challenges you face during your Student Affairs journey!
